Mateja
Heather is a board-certified family nurse practitioner with over 20 years of clinical experience across orthopedics, urgent care, hospital medicine, intensive care, and pediatrics. She founded Atlantic Aesthetics in Scarborough after discovering a deep passion for the science of skin — and a conviction that aesthetic medicine, done right, is genuinely transformative.
Her approach is rooted in the same clinical discipline that shaped her medical career: thorough assessment, honest communication, and results that hold up over time. She believes every patient deserves a provider who actually looks at their face — not just what's trending on Instagram — and builds a plan around their unique anatomy and goals.
Outside the practice, Heather lives in Scarborough with her husband Jeff and their two sons. She rides her Peloton, lifts weights, fishes, and reads — sometimes all in the same week.

Trena brings over 30 years of nursing and healthcare leadership to her injecting practice — including roles as VP of Operations and COO/CEO of multiple healthcare organizations. She's the rare injector who combines deep clinical expertise with a genuine eye for artistry, and her patients feel it immediately. Her philosophy: natural, balanced results that enhance without announcing themselves. Outside the practice, she travels as much as possible and will do almost any workout you throw at her.
Michaella is a licensed esthetician who turned a genuine obsession with skincare into a career she loves. She brings infectious enthusiasm, serious product knowledge, and a warm, personal touch to every facial and skin treatment. Portland-based, iced-coffee-powered, and perpetually glowing — she's your skincare hype person and your most honest mirror, all in one. When she's not in the treatment room, you'll find her walking Baxter Boulevard or being bossed around by her Pomeranian, Gordy.
Erica is a licensed esthetician who is passionate about helping clients achieve healthy, radiant skin while enhancing their natural beauty. Her background as a Certified Nursing Assistant helped shape the compassionate, detail-oriented care she brings to every treatment, combining clinical care with a personalized touch. Erica believes every client deserves to feel confident in their own skin, and she's committed to creating a results-driven, luxury experience for each person she treats.
Melissa is the first voice you hear and the reason the whole experience feels seamless. With over 13 years in marketing and social media — spanning veterinary medicine, beauty, and branding — she brings a rare combination of creative intelligence and genuine warmth to client relations. Her background includes advanced studies in aesthetics at AMA Allure Microblading Academy, SCALPA, and Acacia Academy of Beauty, which means she speaks the language fluently and will help you navigate your options without the overwhelm. She lives in Scarborough with her husband Patrick, three kids, and two very energetic boxers.
